
Melody P. Crane - M. Ed.
Executive Director
Ms. Crane has her bachelor's degree in Emotional Conflict/Special Education and her Master's degree in Mild Learning Handicaps/Special Education. She received training in the area of school administration and served as principal in a private Christian school for four years. She has 15 years experience teaching children with special needs. Her teaching experience includes teaching children with autism, learning disabilities and Emotional Conflicted/Behavior Disordered in the special education and inclusion classroom. She provides behavioral and educational consultation services and teacher training to public and private school systems.
Kristi Hubbard - M.A., BCBA
Certified Behavior Consultant
Ms. Hubbard has a bachelor's degree with a major in Psychology. She holds a Master's degree in Experimental Psychology and an Academic Certification in Behavior Analysis and has fulfilled the requirements as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Her Master's level research involved comparing situational cardiovascular reactions in children with Autism and typical children. Ms. Hubbard has worked in home therapy and has eight years of experience with the ABA method and children with autism and related conditions.
Jessica Jacob - B.A.
Clinic Administrator / Therapist
Ms. Jacob has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Child Development. She currently serves as a clinic administrator in the afternoon and a therapist in the morning at the Riley Center. She is a very energetic and sincere person that exhibits a deep concern for the long term welfare of the children.
Jamie Cummings - B.A.
Clinic Administrator / Therapist
Ms. Cummings has a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She currently serves as a clinic administrator in the morning and a therapist in the afternoon at the Riley Center. She is currently enrolled in the UAH graduate school of psychology. She is a sensible, dedicated individual that has a genuine desire to improve the well being of each of the children.
Heather French - Ph.D.
Currently working with The Riley Center’s clinical and educational programs, school collaborations, and research. Heather has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Birmingham Southern College; Master’s degree in English Education, Florida State University; Ph.D. in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership, The College of William and Mary. Heather has experience as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist and as a classroom teacher. She spent four years as part of a research team for a multi-state, 5 year, $5 million grant awarded through the U.S. Department of Education.
Tam Dahlgren - M. Ed.
Classroom Teacher
Ms. Dahlgren has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Elementary Education/Special Education/Early Childhood. Ms. Dahlgren currently serves as our teacher supervisor for our preschool program. Ms. Dahlgren has served as a regular education teacher, learning disabilities teacher, and special programs teacher for children with Autism. Ms. Dahlgren has 15 years experience working with children in the school setting.
Betsy Scott - M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech and Language Pathologist / Consultant
Ms. Scott provides consultation services to the Riley Behavioral and Educational Center for the development of children's individualized programs. She also provides direct service to children at our center.
